Unreal performance in a losing effort. The guy played the whole game ,scored 47 points including 2 3's when the game looked like it was over. THAT's the kind of game on the big stage great players have! |

He scored 44 and played a grand total of 53 minutes in the Celtics' 115-111 Game 2 OT loss to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals last night. I still can't believe the C's tried to trade Rajon Rondo at the NBA Trade Deadline. He's the kind of player to build a team around. |

The source of Rondo's great play: Scalabrine! Quote: "Rajon, they're collapsing on you," Scalabrine said of his message to Rondo on Comcast SportsNet New England's pregame show. "Use your instincts, make plays. That's what you want to do. That's why you're so special. Your instincts are off the charts. If you see a layup, shoot a layup. If you [see] a pass, make the pass. Trust your guys: trust Ray Allen, trust Paul Pierce. And I feel like he feels that he needs to be more aggressive making basketball plays . . . If 20 shots is what it takes, that's what it takes. Rajon Rondo needs to be more aggressive in making his players around him more better." http://bleacherreport.com/tb/d7Dc3?utm_ ... mpaign=nba |
