I caught about 3 innings last night and I enjoyed it well enough. Jackson was pitching pretty well and
Pittsburgh has one hell of a stadium. I haven't watched more than a handful of Cubs games the last
few seasons but i am going to give them a chance this year. I even bought some decent tickets for
an upcoming game in May at Wrigley. Frustrating to see them leave so many men on base but I
have to think it will get a little better and excited to see if the young guys can step up when they
are brought up.
It makes it tough for fans and players, when you see guys busting their asses to win a game and Jose Veras is trotted out for a tryout, that just kills any momentum the team has, of course Bernstein says there is no scientific proof of momentum, so I could be wrong.
