Yeah, no... no more Jeff Garlin for me. I have seen and heard enough from him.

they shouldn't have even done seasons 7 or 8. Show got real bad the last couple seasons....similar to Seinfeld.

Season 8 was awful.

Season 7 had its moments, but the Seinfeld "reunion" wasn't very well done overall.

I thought season 8 was a step up from season 7, and the Palestinian Chicken episode was one of the best ever.

Season 7 certainly had its moments, particularly The Black Swan.

Yes, great episode.

I also liked the episode where Jason Alexander released his book "Acting without Acting". Do you respect wood?

This guy is like Jim Belushi, isn't he? Not funny, and can't wait to tell everyone how much of a Chicago [insert name of team having great year] fan he is.

He's been on Silvy and Waddle several times and always sounds like a tool. I think he's been on Mike and Mike, too, and seems like a natural for their show. He was on "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me" this weekend.

i like him on the show but whenever i hear him in an interview, he comes off as extremely obnoxious and overbearing. he talks like he's in a crowded bar with the music blasting.

Yeah that is my personal favorite. Mr Softee, the PED, and Buckner were all great too.

Yeah, I've always hated Garland.. He's not funny and his wife in that show is equally useless and annoying. It's pretty much a one man show, the acting is shit outside of Larry and nobody is funny besides Larry.. JB Smooth is another hack.

exactly. i was a big fan but the last 2 seasons sucked. there have been one or two very good episodes, but overall they don't tie in together like the first 5 seasons did. Seemed like Larry started forcing it the last 2 seasons while in the earlier years it came off naturally.

Premiered last night. I thought it was just ok. A couple of chuckle worthy scenes but was a lot of the same schtick for a
majority of it. I'll watch because I am a fan but don't have huge expectations. He'll eventually hit on a couple of scenes
or maybe a new classic episode or two.

It's still good but it's really cartoonish now.

It used to be a somewhat believable setting with certain instances where he would have these hilarious interactions etc. Now its 100% Larry going FULL Larry at all times.

They even use the music earlier and often.

But, like I said even lesser Curb is still pretty funny.

The good news is I'm still alive was funny both times. And Leon with the walk-by "that's a fuckin bride, you a fuckin groom" was funny.

5 years to write and this is the best they can come up with for a premiere episode? At least they haven't missed a beat as the show sucked just as much as it sucked 5 years ago.

Pass.

I enjoyed it. His useless secretary reminds me of Julie Dicaro. The "hot" lesbian was nice too.

Everything felt so forced. Last 2-3 seasons were the same but this first episode was even more forced.

I have been underwhelmed so far, but just watched the third episode. A perfect guest star (who is somewhat surprisingly very funny), another really great guest star, well planned out story -- I hope this is what the rest of the season is like. This had double the laughs of the first two episodes combined.

Agreed with the solid guest stars, especially with the surprising one (Fatwa). I didn't find myself laughing all that much but it was clever at times.

I thought the pickle jar thing was pretty funny. They probably went to it one too many times in the episode but still.

He could lose the "pretty, pretty, pretty" schtick. Been there, done that.
