I've been a Stafford supporter throughout and I'm frankly not sure what has happened to him the last few weeks but I will happily admit I was wrong* if he continues to suck and smooths the Packers path to the SB.

Maybe Stafford was injured in all those playoff games he lost, 0-3 in playoffs + 0-4 in regular season games with direct playoff implications (last game of season, seeding at stake etc). Stafford entered this season 8-67 (.106) against teams that finish the season with a winning record-- also due to injury?

Rams 27-24 W over the Colts could move Stafford to 10-70 by end of season. Colts are .500 currently. This is disingenuous at best. Here's a couple of simple questions...

-Is QB the most important position in the NFL?
-Is Stafford considerably better than Goff?

In most people's opinion they substantially upgraded the most important position, which also happened to be among their weakest. They saw a window to win a SB and went for it (& I'm guessing the vast majority of Rams fans were thrilled). It may turn out they come up short. The fact that the team isn't better is not a reflection on the trade however, as much as it is on the numerous other variables that play out in any given season.

Stafford was a great pickup. Picked that dude up for both my fantasy teams with Woods in one league and Kupp in another. Needless to say I'm in first in both for the first time ever.
