I loved her work on the sunday morning baseball show

my goodness, was that an optimistic interview. It was a nice change of pace from ordinary sox analysis over the last few years. Julie was always optimistic, almost childlike innocence

Julie is a sweetheart and she had better baseball thoughts than most of the dopes on Chicago sports radio.

I won't lie and say I'm not chauvinistic when it comes to women and sports. As a general rule men care about sports more than women. That's just a fact. But when you find a woman who is really interested you'll find they have better opinions than most men. Julie has good baseball opinions.

I agree but I'm not used to positivity towards the white sox, even from fans.

Especially from fans. It's our general nature to be negative. The 108 guys are unsually optimistic for Sox fans. Ken W.o. is a more realistic avatar for White Sox Nation.

We need to roll out the "your average Sox fan is a negative douchebag" quote. That was a great one.

Julie could hold her own....she actually watched games and cared. Also did not have nails on the chalkboard voice.

If there was another woman on the radio that even came close to Julie...please....I'm listening. I guess Peggy Kusinski was ok, but nowhere as good as Julie Swieca.

Julie was good with callers, too, back when that was a thing.

Les never asked to borrow it, why should BeefLoaf have to?

Sox flying high, you know how I feel
Sun in the sky, you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by, you know how I feel

It's a new dawn, it's a new day
It's a new life for me, yeah
It's a new dawn, it's a new day
It's a new life for me, ooh
And I'm feeling good
