he's good, knows his stuff but Leila and Marshall spend the first 4 minutes of every appearance talking about their personal lives, usually trying to live vicariously through Dorsey. I think even he gets a bit uncomfortable with how much they stick on that topic. Plus consider this in the context of the two hosts routinely lamenting how their personal lives should be of no interest to the listener. Fair enough, #StickToSports then, I don't get how it's surprising that if you keep saying your lives are boring...that is in itself boring radio. |

The segments with Dorsey are an abomination. He is not a baseball expert. He is a diversity hire who knows about baseball. He brings nothing special or inspiring. But that is where we are in 2025 with the media in general. Specifically, the new midday show seems to fawn over his body and it is very weird. |
