Yup. It's an embarrassment to tank. The entire sport of baseball should be embarrassed that so many teams feel the need to do this and yet MLB does nothing to try and stop it. You are basically forced to ruin the game.

I thought what the Cubs did was bad at the time too but I now understand that Theo was doing what MLB was telling him what to do.

The NFL is the only one that has it right. The rest of the leagues at a minimum need to institute a random draft order(or at least a rotating one). They also need to stop with the long periods of control of young players. The problem is they are rolling in huge money so they don't really care as long as everyone gets paid.
