Ran 'em off the court again in the 4th(44-26) but still needed a half court shot from Giddey to win it.

Have the Bulls ever scored 9 points in 12 seconds?

This is the most enjoyable Bulls team in like 10 years.

Love the confidence and swag of this kid. Sadly they are just right back to NBA hell.

While you might be correct part of me wants to see what they do in the play in games and playoffs if they get there. If they flame out in the play in then yeah it's back to NBA hell. But if they get in the playoffs and win the 1st round, then they have something to build upon.

Tanking for picks is fools gold. You all know how many high first round picks fail in the NBA, and how many low picks become stars. Take the Magic: Shaq was the safest pick. They knew he couldn't shoot or dribble worth a fuck but his size and power in the post made him an exeption.

Penny Hardaway was another matter. His body went to shit in year TWO! And that team has been nothing ever since. These Unicorns: Always hurt. Porzingus, Yow Ming, Holgrem and now that stick figure in Huston...all in street clothes when you need 'em most.

Matus is not a unicorn...he's a Monocorn. He has the frame and the athletisism of a man of six foot four. If you saw his body and movement in silluette one would guess that. The only thing that is not in perfect proportion is his long freak arms, and that's a fucking good feature to have as a basketball player.

We don't need any damn billionaire "superstar" to hamstring the paroll like Zach and Patric Williams. This team will be heavily copycatted if we continue to be good...mark my word.

You're probably right...but what if Giddey and White are emerging as a top 10 NBA backcourt and Matas become a 15-20 PPG scorer. They have the chance to have a young, improving 3 headed monster that is going to be a good nucleus.

A half-season does not mean any of this will happen, but if they finish the season, add another decent draft pick to the mix, and have these guys as the future, is there a chance that this team actually has legitimate pieces and maybe even all-star level pieces here already.

I would like to sign and trade Josh Giddey and other pieces/pick(s) for Giannis please.

If that doesn't work, I'd think long and hard about what it would take to acquire Zion Williamson.

In reality, sign Taj Gibson. Get some leadership and good vibes in the locker room. Taj can be what Udonis Haslem was on the Heat. Please dump Vucevic. It's his last season under contract at roughly $21 million. That'll be attractive to a number of teams. Keep adding young pieces and picks.

Also, is there a way to get rid of Patrick Williams? The man is consistently inconsistent. Does New Orleans like Williams?

For the last month and a half they had as good a record as anybody. Sign a power forward and let it roll next year. Giddey is a potential problem but he's restricted. Does anybody out there really have the cap to offer him something outrageous?

Just bring the whole band back plus a Finney-Smith or a Portis and let's see what happens.

Maybe they can get up to the 7/8 play in game.
