Brandon Thorn, who is widely respected for his evaluations of offensive line prospects, likes Trapilo a lot. Thorn gave Trapilo a high third-round grade, but the Bears probably had to take him towards the end of the second round given the way things were falling. He seems like a very good pass blocker and plays with some nastiness on run plays. He seems like a good pick.

I have seen this evaluation as well, which seems like a description of a LT, but people in HH are talking about the disruptive move of changing Wright to LT and having Trapilo at RT. Maybe that is just because Jones won't be ready for practices next week and they want to test how it looks.

I am perfectly happy being strong up the middle even if it means we are a little weak on the edges. Our G-C-G combo should be sacred.

The same kind of goes for RT. Keep Wright where he is. Almost every team has a weak point on the line. If ours is going to be LT, so be it as long as we are good at the other four spots. We can put trust in our coach to know how to paper over one weak point.

At this stage of his career, Williams seems to handle pressure off the edge much better than he does pressure up the middle. Keeping a strong IOL is key.
