Indiana ended up as the closest game of the 4. What a surprise that 12 teams is too many.

I don't think 12 is too many. Could pick 2, and many would end in blowouts. The last 6 national title games, the closest one was a 15 point victory in 2021.

I like that the higher seed gets to host the first round. However, considering the higher seed should in theory be better, and giving them a home game, sets things up for lopsided games.

Like I said Georgia should have forfeit the SEC title game. They are more likely to win 4 games in a row with Beck as QB than 3 games in a row with Brick as QB.

At this point most people understand sitting out a Bowl game to avoid injury when you are a projected first-round pick, but to play for a half to pad your individual stats and break some record, then quit on your team at halftime is another level of selfish.
