I dont see much of that complaining anymore.

I think we've all accepted eachother.

Just a couple hours ago, a few different times in that same thread; viewtopic.php?f=32&t=71825#p1487041

Not one time in that thread is anybody complaining about Frank C.

This isnt Sox trolling. I thought it was odd he took such a hard line position on the Tigers not being good enough to beat the Sox. Especially in light of the fact that going into the season, no one thought that way.
So the weekend the Sox drop out of first place with a sweep against the only other legitimate team that can win the division a Sox thread is descended upon by Cubs fans and yet it's not the same?

I really don't care either, I just find it funny that Frank is the only one who gets called out for it.

And Where are my props for calling out the trolling and admitting it, whilst urging my cub fan bretheren to do the same?

This is about Frank's statement that the Tigers were nothing to be worried about. I thought it was a silly statement then and was waiting for the opportunity to pounce. (See what I did there?)

What you have done there is provided the exact definition of trolling, at least in terms of a Cubs/Sox troll.

The Tigers have played well for what, 15 games now? Its about damn time they win a few. If the Sox had even gone 5-5 on that road trip, they would still be up a 1/2 game on Detroit.

Calling out people that make absurd declarations is trolling? OK then.

Any chance the Sox go to the Marlins and bring back Buehrle?

Well, the Marlins are having a fire sale. You just never know...I doubt KW has the prospects to give the Marlins though.

The Sox are apparently hot for Greinke. What exactly is Kenny planning on offering them for him?

If KW is really hot for him that means he should be arriving in Chicago in about 5 years

could be why their one prospect was assigned to AAA the other day even though he was hitting .250

I wouldn't trade Gavin Floyd for Greinke. There's no guarantee Greinke is better than Floyd over the next 12 games. Making that move only makes you marginally better at best- and possibly worse. Not to mention whatever else you have to give. Plus Floyd is the one of the best bargains in baseball next season if his $9.5 million club option is exercised. If they can move prospects and/or middle relievers for Greinke, do it.

Guys, it's the price of baseball poker, especially in the White Sox case with few prospects in the minors that they can deal. Also, I heard MLB Network's Dan Plesac was on with ESPN Radio 1000's "Waddle & Silvy" this morning. Plesac feels it's not worth making the deal if the Sox are unable to sign Zach Greinke beyond this season.

Meanwhile, Spiegs is intrigued by the Rays' James Shields as another Southside possibility.

Well, if Spiegs is interested in James Shields, that's enough for me!

Don't they refer to James Shields as "Big Game James" in Tampa Bay? If the White Sox make that deal, can they also add Dave Wills for the radio broadcasts, too?

Shields seems to run the gamut of being an underrated #1 guy, or an overrated #3. He's had some huge games in the postseason, but also looked awfully mediocre in stretches. I tend to think he is good, but not worth trading the farm for.

He might not be as pricey as Greinke, Apologist. I don't know that for sure...

I'd like to have either of those guys, but if Floyd is part of the deal, I think you're pretty much running in place concerning this season. Swapping Floyd and Shields is pretty much a matter of liking the guy you don't have better than the guy you do have. I think Shields is a bargain next year for his $9 million option.

I want Gavin Floyd out of here, regardless if it's Zach Greinke, James Shields or any other pitcher on the market now. Floyd...Too inconsistent. Ditto for Phil Humber.

Shields would cost WAY more than Grienke, SHARKY. Greinke is a free agent after the season while Shields has two team friendly options for $9M in '13 and $12M in '14.
