Booker might be better. I think he's going to be really good too. Mitchell is a better two way player obviously.
You're just wrong on Mitchell being one dimensional. He's a good defender, smart player/passer, and just solid overall player in addition to his scoring. His driving and finishing ability is elite. His handling needs some work but is overall above average.
But again, we are just rehashing the same old arguments and nobody is changing the others mind. We'll see what happens this season. I think he's going to be an All Star.
You ducked the Simmons question. The point is someone can be great as a rookie and have potential to be great and still have a bad playoff series against s better opponent as a rookie. And Houston was way better than aboston without Kyrie and Hayward last year.
I'm not basing my opinion of him on the Houston series. I'm countering the belief that he played great or well in the playoffs. He had one great series and one mediocre/bad series.
As i keep stating and you keep ducking. You know special players when you first see them. If you got to wait 3-4 years in the hope that they will be special then they probably aren't.
I knew Tatum was that dude when I saw him as a Soph in high school. Wrote about it on this board and the now deposed bigfan proceeded to tell me i didn't know what i was talking about as Thon fucking Maker was better. This was 4 years ago and i never wavered. Same with guys like Irving. saw him in high school and knew it.
When you have to wait and see then chances are it ain't to be.
As far as Simmons goes i'm not basing my assessment of him on one playoff series. i'm basing it on his skill set which is vastly superior than Mitchell's.
