Matt Nagy almost convinces Pace to give Bridgewater over $20M a year last offseason. When Bridgewater turns that down to accept the Panthers offer, Nagy convinces Pace to trade a 4th round pick for Foles and his $20M+ guaranteed contract. Andy Dalton played so great last year with a $3M contract that Nagy convinced Pace to more than quadruple his cap hit for this season. You can't make this shit up.

The 4th for Foles and his big contract is worse than this move but the compilation of the two is just vomitous.

The real shit is that, if he had just taken a flyer on a QB in any of his drafts, as he said he would do when he first arrived, you would have someone cheap that you could give a chance to and back up with one of these guys for 5-7 million.
