Bears coaches needed to call the timeout there when Williams was taking too long.

Blew it.

They can lose every game for the next 2 years and they are building that stadium in Arlington.

I will rally the villagers against it myself if I have to.

It's the same drab each and every week. Game essentially over in the first half only to have the offense make a push for "respectability" purposes late in the 4th Quarter

Fields would have thrown his patented game ending pick back when they got the ball - at least Caleb gives them a chance to win.

Eberflus should have called the TO as soon. As he was sacked. But it still was 3rd and 26. Let's quit playing

You're currently cherleading for a QB that is 4-8 on a team that was supposed to be contending for a playoff spot with your dumbass!

Caleb is only playing his 12th game and looks years beyond Fields in 3 years as a bear. he's only getting better and you're just a Fields dick rider because you can't stand anyone being better than your little princess.

you can dick ride Fields all you want but everyone knows he's a failure as an NFL qb. Even Tomlin gave him 4 running plays to study and he can't even do that right!

I hope you have a terrible thanksgiving because you are a terrible bigoted person and i can't wait for Fields to retire as a bust so I can read your comments here on how he failed because of the racist NFL. bye asshole!

For all of the bluster regarding Eberflus the game was lost when he threw the pass directly at DJ Moore's Feet. That was a Touchdown if he complete's the pass. And Moore was wide open. Easy pitch and catch play

The Bears were predicted to win 9 games by MANY dumbass. It looks like they won't get to 6. Despite winning 7 games last season and drastically improving their supporting cast for this kid. And the "he's just a rookie" garbage ain't flying either. As it is clear that he is being outplayed by each and every 1st Rd Rookie from his draft class you buffoon.

Brown recovered nicely in the 2nd half with some solid play calling. Caleb made some great throws but also missed some opportunities as well.

I think the play calling could have benefitted from using the run more in certain situations like when they were at midfield with 46 seconds on the clock and 2 timeouts they could still run the ball to keep the Lions off balance and burn the clock to set the Bears up to win the game. That defense was worn out at that point. But they have a bad sequence there, take a sack, get called for some bad penalties and thats a killer on the road with a rookie QB. Using the run would reset that and settle things down a bit.

No excuse for Eberflus just standing there with like 19 seconds on the clock and not taking that TO.. I'm not for firing him until the end of the year but even I have to admit the Bears may be done with him after that. We may see the 1st Bears HC in season canning as a result -and honestly it looked like Flus was resigned to it.

Nice to see Caleb pull it together against another top-5 defense in the 2nd half on the road and get the Bears back in the game. This is a huge confidence booster type game for a young QB on the road.

Caleb has averaged 275 yards passing and no lower than a 95.0 QB rating against the last 3 opponents 2 of which have top 5 defenses with 1 of them (the Vikings) being ranked #1 overall. He's also not throwing picks which is pretty wild. Thats not bad for a rookie QB win or lose.

So not only has Caleb Williams set Bears rookie QB records for yards and TD's in a season.. but he has now set the NFL rookie QB record for consecutive passes without an INT.. and again, he's done this the last 2 games against top-5 defenses one of them a road game on short notice. To continue to say 'this kid sucks' or 'I'm just not seeing it' at this point says more about the person saying it than anything else. This kid can play and should continue to get better as his career progresses.

If you can't see the talent, and you can't enjoy watching this kid make some of these plays then you have no idea what you're looking at and shouldn't be taken serious in a discussion about football.

He looked like a deer in headlights at the press conference. Asked multiple times about his job status and just kept saying gotta keep grinding.

The "no one knows what they are looking at but us" argument being perpetrated yet again. The Bears are averaging 1-2 points in the first quarter for the season and "Generational Talent" Caleb once again generated all of 57 yards of offense in the first half once again. How MANY times have we seen this movie this season already?

Bears still +1 in point differential. Those Carolina and Jacksonville wins are doing piano-mover levels of heavy lifting.

I guess when you have to disregard an entire half of football to make your stupid criticism of a guy clearly more talented than your chosen one who was benched by another team, might as well go for the gold and just parse performance by the first quarter.
