Pathetic. Kick the field goal!

see this is where the coach is in a no-win situation. You get called a pussy and what are you doing kicking field goal when you’re 4-9 , Then you go for it and don’t make it and you’re moron for not kicking a field goal in a game that doesnt mean anything.

I’m pretty consistent on not wanting my team to act like a 10 year old playing Madden and going for it on every 4th down. Take the points until it’s time to not take the points.

The going for it on 4th down most times trend is one of the dumbest football things in the modern game imo.

Although there are certainly times when going for it is a bad decision, the “trend” is usually correct. Stats - when correctly interpreted - don’t lie.

It’s a 1 score game right now with a chance to tie on this drive if they didn’t go for it twice early in the game when they didn’t have to.

Bad time to try and defend this trend.

Do you also play blackjack on hunches? The correct play is correct, even when it doesn’t work out.

You just can't add 6 points for the two 4th and 1s.
If they make the FG on the first one you don't know what would have happened after that.
The field position everything would be different from that point forward.

Football isn’t blackjack. I’m not sure why that needs to be pointed out to you, but I’m not surprised that it does.

Sure, you clearly know more than the NFL coaches and support staff. Brilliant thoughts, as always. I’m sure Mike McCarthy is on your side though.

Fact of the matter is that the Bears offense blows and has blown for most of the season.
You aren't going to win MANY games when you obtain your first 3rd down conversion of the game in the 4th Quarter.

And Troy is showing that he didn't pay much attention to USC by claiming that he has never gone through this before. Yes he did. Last year USC lost 5 of the last 6 games that he QB'd

Aikman sounds like a bitch.

I like how they said the refs “rightfully” picked up the ineligible man downfield flag while showing a replay with the guy 5yds in front of Jefferson.

Its time to tell Stevenson to go on home. We'll call you when we're ready to.

9ers aren’t trading Shanahan. Not sure why it keeps getting brought up

Poles should bring Aikman to vouch for him at the end of the season meeting.

Bears are just 1 game better record wise than the Carolina Panthers barring a miraculous comeback.
