If it was going so well then why did they deal him for a fourth round pick? The alarm bells should be ringing on this one big time. It was a fine acquisition due to the low acquisition cost but it’s not just set it and forget it. You have to operate under an assumption the Chiefs know something you dont.

I think this was just because the shortest distance to Caleb Williams was from the interior and not much to do with Caleb or his (in)ability to escape or feel pressure.

I think there is a distinct chance he suffers a season ender in training camp and never plays a snap for the beloved at any position.

The Chiefs know when to give up on these linemen. Look at the post-Kansas City career arcs of Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz (the latter doesn’t even have one).
