It's not just ESPN that has made a big deal of their late former colleague, Jim Valvano, and all the constant reminders for you & me to make a donation to the V Foundation. It's my understanding that NBA & NFL officials also support the V Foundation, and have made many donations to Jimmy's charity over the years. Besides all the plugs, ESPN pays its respects to the late analyst & former North Carolina State basketball coach by replaying Jim's speech he made at the 1993 ESPY Awards where he said "Don't give up, don't ever give up..."
