While i do basically agree with what you're saying- i have to wonder how different things would be if Wade had an actual team beside him (Rose, Noah) rather than a collection of NBDL scubs (Heat)
I'm not denying the injury concerns are real- I would be terrified. However i'd have to consider the fact that his workload would be decreased and he wouldn't have to be counted on to do everything
I think Wade had some good talent on the Heat. While they didn't have anyone as good as Rose to take off some pressure I would still be cautious about signing him. I would target LeBron and Bosh first and if that didn't work I would try to sign him. He could end up being Grant Hill of this class. He's a top 5 player that comes with AI like bumps and bruises.
This is ridiculous. He's been as good as he ever was this year. He's missed 6 games total the past two seasons. You are giving him a label not backed by anything but your presumptions about him getting hurt. Nothing in the past two seasons suggest he is wearing down.
Bagels is right too. Rose would give him a much bigger break on handling the ball and he'd be able to make alot more plays alot easier. Durant is not in his league yet either. Wade wouldnt have done that in a Game 6 that close with that much surrounding talent at home. He'll get there, but not yet. And I guess I'm not surprised that you arent sold on Wade given you think the Heat have anything resembling talent. Beasley is a ballhog thats terrible on D and doesnt rebound. Oneal is done. Arroyo has trouble even staying in the NBA. QRich is done. His team is atrocious.
