They might shoot pretty low this week but I’m loving this course. Makes these guys think a bit with shots and just beautiful.

Shaping up for a great finish. I just really enjoy this course. The greens are tough and they are getting some really good shots on the green showing the breaks.

Anyone else watching The Memorial?

Ben Griffin just annoys the crap out of me. I am not really sure why. The sunglasses do not help. He has definitely choked coming down the stretch today. Had a pretty big lead and has let Scottie and Spieth right back in it.

Golf is hard. Max Homa had to walk (and carried his own bag) trying to qualify for the US Open earlier this week.

Well…no shit.

Homa was one shot away from qualifying carrying said bag.

Rory had his worst finish of his pro career this week. He has one top 10 in four tournaments since the Masters. His next best finish was top 20 in the team event at the Zurich, and then 47th at the PGA. Compare that to two wins, a top 5, two top-20s and no missed cuts before the Masters win, and I would say he is definitely and speedily trending down. He’s also been quite whiny about shit lately, and talked too much about his driver issues today when he was in the toilet in every phase of the game.

Can he bounce back and contend at Oakmont? Sure, but right now I’m not putting money on it.
