W_Z,

What's the best film about MLK? I say it is the one with Denzel Washington, but my Black friend gets all pissy when I say that. Is there one out there I am missing?

are you mixing up MLK with malcolm x and that's why your friend gets pissy? or are you talking about the documentary "the march"?

i think there have been great documentaries made about him; dramatic portrayals are far more flawed. and speaking of, "malcolm x" was pretty great.

In all seriousness, it surprises me that there hasn't been a quality biopic about MLK. He's complex enough.

W_Z,

I think Curious Hair is Clawmaster. No one person can be as hilariously uninformed about his own intelligence as Clawmaster. But he's also a great read, albeit unintentionally. What do you think?

Also, all those crime docs on Netflix....is there a good one that is engrossing but won't make me hate humanity?

There's a new one on Netflix about a former professional athlete who was wrongfully accused of murdering his ex-wife and another gentleman whose life was never the same afterwards.

who is also estes hood.

watch "american conspiracy: the octopus murders". it won't give you that much faith in humanity, except for the guy who was trying to expose it.

I am not Clawmaster. However, I will say that his posting style is almost exactly that of the old Usenet blowhards who by late '98 were on the way out of the posting game as I was on the way in: something like a cross between a wrestling promo and the Comic Book Guy. The one thing I don't think I've seen him do is the old line-by-line retort where it would always end like

Quote:
> But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Finally, the one pearl of wisdom you've so graciously dispensed.

I wonder how many of them are still out there. I remember one guy like that named "King Daevid" but he died. Or daied.

Those were some funny, funny people. You must have been really, really young. I remember some of those guys posting about Gillian Anderson.

Yeah, I was in 7th grade and was getting myself into mischief on news:rec.sport.pro-wrestling. One guy threatened to call my dad.

Well, you did ask, so I will pull back the curtain a bit.

Never have any moniker here other than the one I currently use.

The Claw does appreciate the love and admiration he regularly receives from the board.

The board depends on a small group of regular posters to move the needle, we all know we are here to play our bit and provide grist for the mill, the boards version of Shakira, here to shake our asses and entertain the masses.

Wheeling Zack,

If you were going to make an erotic thriller, like a Skinemax movie from the 90s, and The Good Lord came down from heaven and told you that you MUST write a role for the WNBA's very own Caitlin Clark, what role would you create for her, and what would her signature quote be?

She’d be the best friend of the woman who is getting blackmailed. Her signature line would be “Oh, I know where this is going…”
