I may be biased because I lost my pick 5 but that DQ in the fifth was ridiculous. The overhead shot showed the 6 was clear.

That was a bad DQ as far as I'm concerned even though it helped me a bit. I think Prat overreacted because he was angry. But Davis had his horse clear and I think he was surprised that the horse reacted so strongly to the right-handed crack.

I think it's going to be Journalism and Rodriguez in the Belmont today with Rodriquez playing the spoiler.

Sovereignty is going to have to run his best race to win.

Too bad it's a wet track, screws everything up.

Do we really need 30 minutes between races at SAR with the early races?

Waiting 35 minutes in race 6 with only four horses racing is ridiculous.

This Belmont day is a disaster with the muddy track with scratches.

Was looking forward to it all week it's been another bad day for horse racing. I bailed after the second race will rejoin for the Belmont Stakes.

Holy shit with Raging Torent beating Fierceness and White Abbario.

That's unbelievable.

I think Journalism is still a great horse. He was handicapped by running all three legs of the Triple Crown and by having only three weeks rest since the Preakness, a race in which he went all out to win, while Sovereignty had five weeks. I think that was the difference, in addition to Sovereignty probably liking the wet track better than Journalism. They upgraded the track to fast before the race but it still looked pretty muddy to me.
