Should be a very interesting tournament. If you follow golf and are on social media you have probably seen some of the video of the 5 inch tall rough and the greens are supposedly running at somewhere around 15-16 on the Stimp. Insane.

Even in computer golf ( WGT) , Oakmont is a fucking beast. Not a straight putt on that course if the renderings of the greens are accurate.

Can't wait. Looking forward to seeing the chaos. Hopefully come Sunday there are at least 2 of the big name guys in contention and we get to see them battle it out.

If 4 of us went out and played there today, with no galleries, spotters, etc., how many balls would we lose just because they get buried 5 yards off the fairway?

I don't really care about an over par winning score (but it seems like -2 -3 would be incredible), I just hope its a bunched leaderboard on the weekend.

I saw some posted shared on the Twitter that the last time the US Open was at Oakmont one guy (can't remember his name) had 17 bogeys and 6 doubles for the week, yet finished tied for 10th.
