No one thinks that Rose has the potential to be the greatest player of all time. Many thought that Lebron James did or even still does. We'll just never find out now.
It's that simple. It's completely consistent. In fact, the whole reason people want Carmelo is that they doubt that Rose can be "The Man" on a championship team! It's an amazingly consistent stance.
Now go ahead and somehow reference McDonald's and racism in a disjointed reply and we can get this thing going.
